So recently I started doing these rants or monologues where I just speak off the top of my mind on subjects that I find interesting or important.

Bitcoin has been an incredibly fascinating subject to me for many years, since Bitcoin was less than $1!! (Sadly I was not an early investor)

I don’t claim to have any special knowledge of Bitcoin, but as part of my ongoing learning process, I think it’s beneficial to periodically try to articulate my understanding. Doing so in a public forum seems to cause me to be more disciplined with my thoughts and my words, and it’s for that reason that I do it. If it provides any benefit to anyone who listens or watches, great!

So the way I think I’ll do it with these videos is to tackle Bitcoin piece by piece. In this video, I discuss the context that I have found useful, looking at the origins and history of money, for being able to understand what Bitcoin represents and why its important.

Feel free to leave feedback in the comments, or even better, record your own video about what is missing and send me the link! Wouldn’t it be cool if we all started articulating our thoughts and understandings about this incredible subject and expressing them to the world?!
